Phuket ( 6 - 13 Dec 2008)


Day 1 : 6th Dec

visited The Big Buddha, built on a mountain top, visible from most parts of Phuket. View is spectular.

Although it was a sunny day, but it was rather windy & cooling at the top of the mountain.

visited the 2nd temple: Wat Chalong






the security guard at the door of one of the temples in Wat Chalong offered me a sarong cos i was wearing skirt, hence this funny looking picture..










3rd temple: Half buried buddha, Wat Phrathong








LOBSTER FEAST! WITH HUGE TIGER PRAWNS & the tom yum soup is YUMMY!
