ISS HK Trip 29 June 2010 (Day 4)

First day of lesson for my Fundamentals in Traditional Medicine. I guess at this point of time, the subject is still pretty interesting to me. The tutor talked about the history of TCM, blah blah blah. But I was still looking forward to meeting Smurf, Wee & Amanda after lesson. Missed them during lesson cos I didnt talk to anyone.

But on a side note, the sun was OUT after a few days of rain. It finally felt like summer. =)






One of the many many slopes/uphills in CUHK which made life really horrible for us. I swear the uphills in NTU were nothing compared to CUHK's.




Met up with Smurf after lesson for shopping trip to Mongkok. Amanda and Wee gave us a shopping list to get stuff from a supermarket. Silly us headed to Mongkok without a map! We went around asking people for directions, seeking out the friendlier looking people.

Bubble tea from 歇脚亭 (Share Tea) which tasted heavenly. especially as we have combed the streets of Mongkok looking for a supermarket when we hardly speak any Canto, and it's only our 4th day in HK, PLUS we had no map with us.




View from CUHK is really really very pretty. Should bring Sheena & her bf to our school when they come over. I think it's a good place for photo taking.









Smurfs headed back to CUHK after combing the Sportswear streets and looking for the supermarket. Met Amanda and ALEX for dinner in school. But I don't really fancy the food in New Asia college's canteen (nearest canteen to our hostel).

The Smurfs, Amanda and our new friend ALEX, played table tennis to past time. Our friend ALEX was super hilarious with all his excessive gestures.
