8th DEC is the day. Was from NTU CBC & an ITS lab rat. DBSK.BIG BANG.2NE1.SUJU.SNSD.2PM.RUNNING MAN are hearts.
The Peking Duck dinner at Da Dong's was much much better than the buffet dinner we had on Day 2. The buffet dinner was supposed to be the highlight cos we were supposed to have Peking Duck for dinner. But dinner turned out to be HORRIBLE. Not only was the Peking Duck super disappointing, the other buffet dishes tasted below average too. A complaint was lodged and we were promised an "upgraded" lunch with peking duck on day 4. Anyways, all the dishes in Da Dong tasted fabulous - the duck,duck heart, the XO scallop, the cold dish, as well as the dessert that was thrown in FOC. The ambience was superb too. You can see the chefs roasting the ducks in the middle of the restaurant, and the chef will slice the duck in front of you too.
It's our last night in Beijing, and I managed to talk to my Beijing roomie for quite a while. She's from Czech Republic & we exchanged stories about our countries. It's interesting to hear her talk about Czech cos I have never been there and I have zero knowledge about Czech. =)
